 What I Do Around Here…

I am the NextGen Pastor. That means I oversee Nursery, Kids, Youth, and Young Adult ministry areas with a goal of creating healthy communities where they can meet Jesus and live out their faith together. But truly, at the end of the day I’ll put on whatever hat I need to in order to benefit the Kingdom of God.

A Little About My Story…

I received Jesus as my Savior on November 9, 2009 here at Lighthouse. I was 19 at the time, and, boy, was I a mess. This space won’t allow me to dig into all of that right now, but if I had to sum it up in three words they would be: broken, annoying and foolish. I was actually invited to Lighthouse by one of my drug dealers at the time. I’m so thankful for that because Lighthouse has always felt like home to me. Fast forward to the present and I have been chasing Jesus ever since! I NEVER plan on slowing down. I never want to be one of those people who “look back” at their glory days in the faith. I pray & plan to live in God’s glory every day of my life. 

I met my beautiful wife, Jenny, and probably the only woman who would ever put up with me, at Lighthouse. I put a ring on it after less than 2 months of dating and we were married shortly thereafter. We have been married for 8 years now and I have a big, beautiful family of 7. 

I LOVE what I do, but when I’m not doing what I do, you’ll catch me playing games of any sort or shopping (when my finances and wife allow it)! I love to be with people and to have people in our home, so if you’re reading this, welcome to the family.
