What I do Around Here… 

I’m the Lead Pastor (or as I like to say, the closest thing we’ve got to one). That means I’m the “preacher” and I have an incredible responsibility to see to it that the family of believers here are cared for and equipped in a variety of ways. I also enjoy doing the work of an evangelist. I love to stir up desire and curiosity about Jesus. I love to connect people to Jesus!

A Little About My Story…

I was born again at Harvest Church in Vacaville, California in 1998 when I was 25 years old. The Holy Spirit had already been working in my life and getting my attention, as I had in recent years narrowly escaped death twice. Once when I was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer and was healed following a desperate prayer that went something like “God, if you get me out of this, I’ll serve you.” And again, when I was in a high-speed head-on car collision and walked away with only minor injuries. So, when a fellow Airman in the United States Air Force insisted that he sensed God had put him in my life for a reason and wouldn’t give up on inviting me to church services, I finally agreed to go to “get this guy off my back”. Jesus changed, my life and I have been following Him ever since!

I’m married to Juili. We have two daughters, two nieces that we like to claim as our own (even though we can’t take credit for them), and two dogs who drive us crazy most of the time. We also share a home with my mother and father-in-law because that’s how we roll.

Once upon a time, I was in the Air Force and loved to ride dirt bikes and do jiu-jitsu. These days I ride a bicycle and fish. My daughter Kinsley and I are also learning to sail.
